Hahaha yup, if we got to pick on someone, mind as well be someone from SoCal. 
The exact head count matters when there is need for reservation or to some who is on the fence, waiting to see what kind of turn out its going to be, before they commit. It always struck me as kinda odd when some asks "how many are going to be there...", I usually tell them "there will be one more out there, if you come out ..."
