It might be worth the drive to SJ.
Hey 1trueg & Grace
Sorry for 2-hour time post earlier but its not accurate. The true time requirement is dependant on the condition of the paint, the exterior color & interior upholstry condition. If we are working with paint & interior that has been well cared, then 4-hours is realistic.

However, if the paint a has been neglected or the interior needs serious cleaning, not just shampoo and conditioning, then it can easily take 8-hours. Due to the finish quality needed on black cars, always expect a full day for this color. While we may be able to beat this time, but usually time invested = quality of finished product. Detailing as a rule generally be rushed, its kinda like baking bread. As you can tell from the time investment, $99 is a great deal

Saturdays are typically our busiest day, however with an appointment we can set up so that we can reserve a detail technician for you. Drop-in during the week are not a problem and a loaner car is available on week days.

Hope this is of help

I was expecting to leave my car for the day.
I'll call to set up something for one of the next two Saturdays.
Thanks.
