navi prob

Anyone ever have there gps not want to stay up? mine started today where i closed it due to me just listening to the radio parked then when i turned it on it went up then went right back down, it doesnt show text or anything it just goes up then down, up then down. i turned off the car waited then turned back on, took out gps disc, etc. anyone know how to fix this?

uhh not sure if gps has a diff warranty? im still under 60k Barely! lol.

i was gonna take it in.. but magically it fixed it self when i tryed to use it again right now... but this morning it wasnt working... my car is cursed sometimes...

Great!! Hopefully it'll stay that way, but when thinking your car is cursed just be glad you don't have a Benz, those things have real life electrical gremlins living in them, like scary ones with teeth that mess up all your **** lol (most of my friends like german cars, so I've seen it OVER AND OVER)

I had this problem not to long ago. It was the motor, dealer replaced under warranty! They have a TSB for it. Hope this helps.

sooo how can i know forsure if its a motor? cus if i take it in they will look at me crazy thinkin "uhh theres nothing wrong with it" lol.. then knowing my luck after any kinda warranty goes away BAM it will fail...

Mine would do what yours is doing right now (intermittent). It will get worst and will not stay up no matter what you do. I used to be able to push on the screen while its rising and it would stay up. Take it in and tell them there is a TSB for it.
