Ya, it can be hard to justify spending over $3000 on a holiday (Aussies don't say vacation ), but the memories and the experience enrich your life in ways you can't understand until you've traveled far.
It's literally on the other side of the planet and while some things can be foreign lots of things are just like here. From time to time I'd just say to myself, "Dude! I'm in Australia!!"

If we really had money to burn it would be great to fly back up to the Gold Coast just to go snorkeling or scuba diving.
We've been dying to do a NorCal road trip. If Australia doesn't work out we can always fall back to what the girls (Jenn and Veronica) have been talking about: Las Vegas or Cancun.
We talk about it but nothing more than that. We will, sooner or later, just watch!

haha, u know ive been to cancun like 4x and i still havnt been to that bar :X i think this year ill go to it

A friend of mine smuggled in a parrot. He stuck it in a brown paper bag and put it between his legs. It bit him in the inner thigh while they were driving across the border on the way back in.
