Good tax preparer recommendations
Good tax preparer recommendations
Anyone have "people" they can recommend for taxes? Preferably someone who knows how to get back the max amt of return? Also someone who knows how to take advantage of the home tax credit and any other incentives that turbo tax might miss
Dude tells it like it is..he tries hard to either break u even or get some money back..depends on your deductions itemized or standard..remember the biggest thing right now for people is a house..wife and kids are second
I have been to Penni for 6 years now..and the price you pay for preparation depends on how much u earned..not a flat fee for everyone...earn less..less u pay..make more u pay a little more

I think turbo tax catches almost everything, but then again, my deductions are relatively common. Mortgage interest, refi points, charitable contributions, vehicle license fee, previous year state taxes paid, etc. Also, I bought a house last year and turbo tax definitely accounted for the $7500 tax credit. The thing I like about turbo tax is that it continuously updates its forms via an auto-download.
However, I do know of tax preparer that some of my friends swear by for max deduction. He supposedly used to work for the IRS. I haven't used him because he charges a few hundred. PM me if you want his contact.
