Hey guys, so I have been seriously considering buying a topspeed n1 exhaust due to the low price and the great sound (based off sound clips). I am a bit worried about the amount of drone though, and have listened to some clips of just plain driving but I would prefer to be able to hear it in person. Does anyone have one and wouldnt mind giving me like a ride around the block just to see if its an amount that I could tolerate or if I need to start looking at other options?

 

my lady is getting her done Thursday/Friday...hopefully....We will be traveling around 925,209 this weekend....Saturday we will be at the crazy coffee meet if you go...def take you for a spin.

 

oooh i would love to head up to that meet but unfortunately the 4 hour roundtrip is kinda a killer when I half to head back down to school the next day. thanks for the offer and maybe come june I could make the trip up

 

Top Speed... I have one. But it's off the car right now. I don't know if I'm planning on putting it back on (3rd time) or not. It's pretty bad. Sometimes I can't hear myself think. Also might want to ask Evan (elayman) because he had one and replaced his with an invidia exhaust. It does sound REALLY nice... but it was hard to deal with even with the silencers in. Considering the fact that I also have high-flow cats and may be putting my headers in, the Top Speed may stay off the car for me.

if anyone has one of those, is free sometime before sunday and is willing to let me hear it I would be supppper grateful.

 

I forgot to mention, Invidia did make an exhaust that looks exactly like the top speed, but because of a different resonator on the midpipe, it is not as loud as the top speed. I've actually seen and heard that exhaust on a 350z in San Jose before. It might be an option for me if I can find one...

you guys got me worried...cause it is getting installed at the moment for the 03 g35....but we will see how it is...if not HKS,Greddy,Invidia will prob in mind next
