Kintex or Motordyne?

Hey everyone,

I'm debating between getting the MREV2 from Tony or purchasing the new Kintex Velocity Manifold? I was just wondering if I can get some feed back on what you guys think would be better...

Im not to familiar with the Velocity manifold, however the kinetix SSV manifold is known to starve the first two pistons. The Motordyne is VERY popular and i've heard nothing but good from the owners of it.

GOOD LUCK!!

depending on your year...plus the new SSV are made for more NA over FI...but if you have FI than of course it will work better....we have one on Laly car and love it!.....mrev2 will be good if you have a 05+ with the spacer...

If you are going for show, go with the SSV.

If you just want performance, go with the MREV2 and your 5/16ths spacer.

I think there were some dynos a while back that showed the hp difference between most aftermarket plenums and if I remember correctly, the MREV2 and 5/16ths spacer had the most consistent power and torque increases.

Motordyne without a doubt. I haven't seen an SSV dyno show gains on an NA car yet...not to say there isn't one out there somewhere. I can however find a few dozen MREV dynos showing gains, and it'll take me all of 5 minutes. Plus, Tony is a standup guy.

^i dont think the MREV will show much gains on your car cause its a 5AT compare to the 05+ 6MT cause we got the DE engines and the 05+ got the rev-ups

MREV2 and spacer installation is pretty easy. Shouldn't take that long to do.

However, I don't think the MREV2 is as effective on a 5AT as it is on a revup 6MT.

6MT Coupe
I wouldn't mind having the Cosworth Twin Plenum with C/F end caps, but it's too expensive...
