I got some 06 HL's installed finally that I bought from another member but there are some slight imperfections that from what I gather can only be solved by wet sanding. I have never done this before and dont really want to risk Fing them up more.
Anyone local wanna give me a hand?
or point me to a really well written DIY and maybe ill give it a shot
thanks

not sure if wet sanding is a good idea on plastic cuz i heard there is a protective coating that's on the headlight. if you sand that away your headlight lens won't be able to withstand the sun and rain and eventually it'll haze up really bad. Originally Posted by French87

have you tried to get some aggressive plastic polish? and i think you should probably use a rotary buffer.

I learned the hard way...Dont do it...It wont stand the wet sanding...I had fogged headlight and i tried it and now it doesnt look that good....It helped, but not the way you wish

go to pepboys, they have a kit for $10. all you need is a drill. no sanding needed.
