If it is you should atleast re-polish that b!atch cause at the moment and time look pretty harsh.

Because it is easier and can get a better polish done with it off the car. Polish it up. Get all the fine hairline scratches if any out. Then after reinstallation use care and if a little greese gets on it hand buff it out... makes sense to me.
