Kinda of a bad weekend - SF Front Plate Ticket

man what a bad weekend...

first the dealership doesn't fix my window issues. it still gets stuck down randomly and now rattles like hell over bumbs when slighty opened and now i have to wait till the middle of he week to get it fixed...

second... my ATM/check card gets stolen. the theif decided to fill up three tanks at Olympian gas. man, if you are going to steal my money to fill your tank and two of your buddies... at least put some good stuff in...

finally got a ticket for no front plate on clement street in san fran while getting some quick dim sum...

so anyways at the same time to file a police report for my ATM/check card, i asked the cop about the ticket... after a pleasant (almost comical) discussion about the regulation/enforcement of the front plate... he says...

"you could always zip tie it, come get your ticket signed, pay $10 and be off your way and cut it off after you drive around the corner"

well, i don't want to be that ghetto, but does anyone have the license plate holder for the tow hook they could loan me for a couple of days so i can get my ticket signed?

let me know...

Re: Kinda of a bad weekend - SF Front Plate Ticket

Damn that sucks bro...

I got "warned" by SFPD for "excessive honking" on 10th St / Bryant...The light turns green and this car is just stopped in the far left lane...no blinkers on...I'm flashing and honking my lights - traffic is coming up fast...Then this uniform cop comes from the sidewalk and starts walking towards me..." it was a nice day and had my windows rolled down" - he's like what's the problem...I go " the guy is double parked and there's traffic coming behind me moving pretty fast...I don't want to get rear-ended..." - He's like you know I coudl've given you a ticket for excsessive honking..." I"m like ok what about the guy in front for double parking? I don't see you giving him a ticket or had your lights on for pulling him over.." He's like is there a problem...I said, no problem...I was wondering why the guy is stopped in the middle of the road when there's room for him to park?...He thinks for a second I was getting ready to ask for his badge number and report his a**....He doesn't know I have family in SFPD and CHP...He thinks about it and goes...have a nice day sir...drive carefully and shook my hands....!

Man, that sucks you got such a ticket for a shi*y reason. Im still dont have my front plate on either....I feel like I would be letting the car down to put it on and make it ugly. Speaking of bad weekends, I went to La for a llittle vacation time and was coming back on the 5 and got pulled over in the middle of nowhere. He clocked me at 114 mph. Damn, I guess that sounds kind of excessive. You know what the funny thing is, Before I accelerated past 100, I thought, "this is too good to be true, no one on the road, no cops spotted yet, I probably shouldnt speed. Oh well, Ill just do it for a min or two." Well, one minute and thirty seconds into it, I see a CHP car flip a bitch over the dirt median, causing a huge dust ball, and come after me. He must have been taking his time cause I slowed down to 70 and it still took him a good two or three mins to catch up. So now I have to drive back down to go to court since it was 100+. I dont even know where the freaking town is for me to go! Anyway, Im pissed cause I was being stupid and got caught. So, lets drink to the bad weekend.

On a side note, when I was in LA, I saw so many G coupes it was amazing. For some reason I see more four doors up here. Drive safe on highway 5 everyone..you might just get pinched. I dont think thwey like G drivers. At least not ones going 114

MOTOP:

Read your post - you said "on cruise at 89 MPH (max)" - My car maxes cruise at 92 MPH - are you sure your max cruise is only 89??

Thanks.
