It probably is the type of dyno or depending on if your's was adjusted or unadjusted

Elayman: I got the Dyno's done in SO Cal @ Yimi Sport Tuning in Santa Clarita,CA.

I need to tune my car really bad though

I have stillen intake and oil pan upgrade ,z-tube, invidia test pipes, UR underdrive pulleys, MotorDyne Mrev2 +Spacer + Shockwave dual Ti . and Strike Twice custom grounding kit..
I am sure it will put out alot more power if it had a good tune and the air/fuel were adjusted correctly.

got some more planned Most likely NOS.. don't know bout headers b'c I hear alot it doesn't do much for our cars
A little hesitant on FI b'c it's such a pain in the **** for maintenance.

A Vortech V3 shouldn't be too bad in terms of maintenance/installation.

Cool, now there are two of us in the Bay Area that has this exhaust! The exhaust is amazing. Hope to hear you around

How's the cabin noise for you? When I use my Shockwave tips, it sounds like a race car and I get tons of rasp. So now i'm using my Gamma, which I like more for daily driving.

What year is your car, btw?

Sounds really nice man How much did the invidia test pipes run you if you don't mind me asking? In addition, how long have you had them for and any issues? Thanks.

I got the invidia test pipes for dirt cheap off my buddy who used to own a 350z. the guy joined the air force, so he sold his Z to buy a truck since he was being sent to Alaska.

I've been running the test pipes on my car since October
They were REALLLLLLLY raspy with the Stock exhaust set up (they even burned up 2 exhaust gaskets ,) but it sounds a hell of alot cleaner now with the MD shockwave !

mine is an 04
I don't get any rasps with my exhaust
I used to get tons of rasps and 'fat loogie in the throat' sounds when I had my stock exhaust with the test pipes
The air flow is alot smoother and I'm loving the race car sound w/that deep bass
Tony made a damn good exhaust system!

This baby is louder then exhaust
I know Motordyne also has some quieter versions of their exhaust systems too if you don't care so much for loud exhausts.
My car sounds like I'm in NASCAR

That's interesting that it is different on your car, perhaps because I have headers, Tony did mention that it will make it the loudest configuration with test pipes. Though I have 3 resonators and 3 mufflers. Also maybe cause I've driven my car plain-o stock for 6 years and a slight sound increase is quite different to my ears. I did however wrap almost all the straight pipe locations, which made it sound much warmer. The only place I didn't is the headers, since I haven't replaced my Ichiba with the Tomei's yet.

I should come to one of the mini meets so we can compare our exhaust and meet the g35driver crowd in the Bay Area. Ever since I've had the exhaust I rarely turn on the stereo, since the exhaust sounds so nice to the ear

Agreed, Tony is awesome. I'm still waiting for his Test Pipes, hopefully he gets those out ASAP

+1 I'm waiting for Tony's test pipes too! i told him, as soon as they're ready, shoot me a PM and I'll drive down to LA just to pick them up
I don't have headers on my car -- so far, all the data I've seen seems to point to the fact that they're too much effort and energy to put in and they don't produce much gains =/
