There was someone selling 4 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires on Craigslist for $200 for all 4. They were 245/45-18's with about 90% tread left. Since these tires retail for about $200 each, I called him to find out what the deal was. He said he works at a tire shop and they were throwing these away. Yes, the BS meter was pegged, but it was a great deal. He lived in Daly City but wasn't interested in shipping them, so I thought maybe I'd find someone here who'd check them out for me and if they were legit, I'd pay that person to go buy them and ship them to me. I PM'ed Panda about these, but never heard back.

But I've gone a different route with tires, and his first 2 ads have expired and I don't think he's re-posted. But, if they're still out there, it's a pretty awesome deal. So keep your eyes on Craigslist for these if they re-appear.
