Monterey/Pebble Beach Z/G & Friends Meet & Ride
September 19th 2009

Hi Everyone,
Come out and enjoy the fun ride, lunch, and chance to meet other sports enthusiasts. It will be a great time to remember. And remember it’s free, except paying for your own lunch, which will be a First Class Buffet Style Lunch on Pebble Beach.

Itinerary:
10:00AM: Meet at: "MY NISSAN" 222 Auto Center Circle Salinas, CA 93907

11:30PM: Depart (1 1/2 hrs approx.)

1:15PM: #10 Bird Rock View/Pictures

1:45PM: Poppy Hill Restaurant, Pebble Beach


Notes:
A: Entrance to Pebble Beach and the 17 Mile Drive is $9.75, but will be included in the meal price, which also includes the tax, tip, all inclusive.

B: Lunch at "Poppy Hill” on Pebble Beach has been reserved. Has
beautiful view of the golf course. Planned “Buffet” with price to be announced shortly. Will be a approximately same as last year. Please carry some cash with you. Will collect for meal at “MY NISSAN” Salinas, when registering for the raffle(s) sponsored by ‘ZONC” and ZCarGARAGE. You will receive 1 free Raffle Ticket when you sign up for your meal. May purchase additional raffle tickets at time of sign in also for more chances to win.

C: If you have two way radios’, bring them, we'll be using channel 9.

Please make notation for lunch at “Poppy Hill” next to your name. We need to give a count to restaurant ahead of time, as we are reserving a private area. “Poppy Hill" is located on the Pebble Beach Golf Course.

* Hwy 68 to G20 (Left on to Laureles Grade)
* G20 to G16 (Right on to Carmel Valley Road)
* G16 to Hwy 1 North (Right)
* Hwy 1 to Gate to Pebble Beach "17 Mile Road"

Buffet Style with information to be forthcoming. This is a first class buffet on Pebble Beach. Please purchase your meal tickets upon arrival at “MY Nissan” soon as possible so we can start the fun run.

ZONC and ZcarGarage Sponsored Raffle:

Enjoy the Scenic Route through the mountains, Carmel Valley, and Pebble Beach "17 Mile Drive" on Pebble Beach with lots of time for pictures, and conversation. This will be an experience to remember for everybody and a chance to meet other Z / G and friends of different sports cars owners.

Note: Reason for the early Post is I'm leaving the country end of this month and will not return till August, so I'm planning ahead with all the details, Pebble Beach, Restaurant reservations, etc. etc.

Warren . . . Carol and I were looking forward to this event, this year. That particular day will be my father's birthday. So, we are a no go.

Yes, it's been corrected - typical typing error, I blame it on the key board, it just wouldn't sit still..

 

sad day... I can't go either... 2 weddings that day... I've been wanting to go to see all you happy folks again and get more footage for a new video... its about time... new cameras and everything!!!! =T well... guess there's next year =P... BTW check out upcoming DSPORT issues... my car hasn't been shot yet... but its being worked on... big plans... "special engine??"... I'll keep you all updated... maybe by next year's meet it'll be ready to rumble... maybe...

 

Too bad, but you'll be pretty busy at that. So have a good time....and see you next year.

man... why couldnt i have known about this site last year when i was still in cali :\ gorgeous scenic windy roads.. gah! i miss it so much.
