Help! TPMS place needed!

I've called a few places and to switch the TPMS sensors from my 18" to the G37 rims I bought are asking between $250-280... That's a complete rip for some sensors, some people told me they've been charged a total of $60-80 for everything.

Someone help me out here, where in norcal (near Napa) can I find a ship thats not going to charge me this much?!

250 sounds rite since they have to dismount and remount 8 times. and install tpms.

thast 26 per tire with a 5 dollar fee for tmps mounting. acutally thats a pretty good deal.

the people being charged 60-80 might have been them buying new wheel with out tires and not having to dismount and remount so many times

Even with having the rims already off?

What if I brought down the rims and tires not mounted on my car, and just had them switch over the TPMS

I have the tires/rims already on my car (new rims)

I have the old rims/tires sitting in my garage.

If I brought down the old rims and tires with the new rims and tires... shouldn't it be cheaper?

What if I had them remove the tires and not have them put it back together on the old rims?

i'm not sure if kris can answer that, you should ask one of the shops that quoted you. maybe get into specifics of why they are charging that much.
