oh and im not at fault either because the animal "jumped in front of my car" so my rates dont go up and I dont incur any penalties on my driving / insurance record

yeah i do. but its cool cuz my deductable is WAY less that how much it would cost to get a new bumper painted and installed. plus there is damage to the plastic underbelly of the car and the headlamp ballast got cracked. so this way the shop can fix all of it at whatever price they want and ill just let my insurance take car of it all

Like I said .. Good luck... I sent him 4 PMs, posted several times in his threads and called him over a dozen times all over a 3 week period of time. No success.... Frusterating to many. I am very thankful that a local member had the bumper I needed.

the one on the left is INVEN the one on the right is OEM SPORT BUMPER..
depends on your insurance...sometimes they are **** about getting the parts asap and the car out of the shop in a timely manner and some dont allow "aftermarket/custom bumpers for that reason...

some shops dont wanna hassle with stuff like that too..
your deer accident, sounds like my raccoon incident from 6months ago..i thought it was just a3-500bumper replace..ended up 2gs plus...

GOODLUCK!!

Hey if you should opt for the projector headlights too if you dont have them already, since the headlight is cracked..LOL

the one on the right is a chopped version of the OEM sport tha tinfluenced the design for the inven. but yeah I feel ya on the shop preferance. Right now i just have the oem base bumper, so at minimum if they arnt willing to do an aftermarket swap they should at least be able to get the sport bumper. since it is oem. but like u said, it will probablly end up costing more than just the bumper price once they find other damages to the exterior and hidden costs. we shall see

one thing about insurance claim is that, even though you are not at fault. when you switch to other insurance company, you will still have a claim in your insurance history... or so im told...
