Hey guys/gals, anyone have a problem w/ the passenger door lock not functioning? I dont know if its simply broken or if its like a valet mode or smthing...(i accidently hit the lock/unlock button while the driver side door was open, i had a honda before that did this)

Any diagnosis on the problem?

Door lock actuator is probably going dead. Mine does that once in a while too.

sounds exactly like the actuator happened to my driver door, got it replaced then a month later my passenger door did it, which reminds me i gotta take it in lol..

 

Just installed my oem door lock actuator for the passenger side today... NOT fun...!!! i went to my friends stereo shop because he has all the tools that wont scratch my car... had to take the window out, the hardest part.. oh yea.. you also have to take the door handle off, not cool either.. anyway.. riverside infiniti hooked up the part for $212 bux otd and it took a total of about an hour and a half... "2" people definitely make it easier...
