nooob here - just picked up a 07 LP sedan

Hi guys!

I've have been researching on the forum for the past 4 months (just started posting - was waiting till i actually got my car) I recently bought a 07 LP G35 Sedan last Thursday from Beshoff Infiniti (they are AWSOME) and man, this car is dope. I already think i got the mod bug and I got a couple things planned but pretty busy working at the moment.

My friend who is a professional photographer took some quick shots. I'm still deciding whether i should debadge or not and i'm going to contact vince at omega tintwerks soon to get some tints done.

QUESTION: Does anyone have suggestions on tints? I live in Fremont and go to school at SCU (how are the cops? I've heard rossetta in Fremont is a *** - funny story actually, my friend got a ticket from him for not wearing a helmet when he was biking like 3 years ago ROFL) I was thinking either 35 all around or 35 in the back and 50 on passenger/driver sides.

Anyways, here are some pictures, enjoy!

Hello fellow noobie!! Nice car, I was considering the sedan too before i got my coupe.
In my opinion I would prefer 35% all around/same tint all around it does looks alot cleaner.
Yea, I use to live in fremont, and in HS days we use to always be soo afraid of Rossetta, my friend got pulled over twice in the same week and she had showed him a ticket that she already got for the .. altezza lights (yes this was back in days, don't laugh) he still was giving her problems for her another fix it ticket. what a punk. lol

hahaha yeah man that's my plan. I gotta see how 35's look on black interior first but i got friends with IS's with 35's all around and a friend with a m3 that has the 35/50. both look pretty goood.

by the way +1 for beshoff, i bought my car from them. Brian was sickkkk! great experience.

Rosetta.. hilarious, my friend had to go to court to show the judge he had a helmet and how to buckle it Rofl.

I have found that with the 50 on the fronts with the back darker it is mostly unnoticeable. I have been pulled over a couple times and no cop has ever questioned by tint, one asked and even shined his flashlight on the window (he made me roll it up) and he could not tell because the line was so close to the window edge. A good tint job will take you a long way. Congrats on the new ride, looks nice.

i havnt had any problems with tint yet knock on wood, i run 35 all the way around, and i work in newark so i go threw Fremont daily and i see cops all the time i guess as long as cop isnt pissy and your not doing anything to stupid you should be fine.

PS Congrats on the car!

Welcome to the boards! Enjoy your new ride

As for tint, that's personal and like everyone else, I've heard Fremont cops sucks when it comes to mods. Since you live there, for your personal peace of mind I'd say 50% front 2 and 35% rear 5.

Regarding debadging, I like the way the G37's look with the stock badges, but that's just me

wait, do you mean 32 in the back and 50 in the front? i just called omega tintwerks, going in monday the 27th to get it done. any suggestions on the kind of tint i should use? vince told me they have both metallic and this other one. Metallic is like 260 and the other that he recommends is 360. are there any downsides to the metallic tint??

Oh yeah, parents just picked up a new e350 yesterday. pretty sick!

If that's that case, then you owe us some push ups, Farsey.

Danny, congrats on the sexy sedan. Welcome to the boards and enjoy your new car.
