You are fortunate your deductable is only $100. THat does suck that they did that to your ride though. Insurance will only cover the panels that were damaged so your bumpers would not be included in the cost. Not sure if your trunk was keyed. Insurance will want you to go with OEM color since it would cost more to pull engine and paint inside there if you went custom. I think you will have a harder time with any of the local shops in color change. I would go to TNT from what positive things I hear about them plus seems like everyone and their brother is getting hooked up with painting there... Good luck.

I was thinking that maybe it would cost roughly the same for my insurance company to cover new paint entirely vs just the panels hit, since 95% of them would have to get repainted... aside from my front bumper, roof, and sideskirts EVERY OTHER panel got hit, trunk included... so the labor difference in having to remove all of those parts, prep them, paint, etc etc would probably not be drastic at all.. but I could be completely wrong I am extremely uneducated on the subject.

Anyways, it sounds like I am going to try calling tnt, if the whole process is going to involve many drives back and forth to the shop though I will want to find something closer...

Thanks for the suggestions

... why would someone even do this?! In 2006, when I bought my first G35 6MT. I went to a starbucks to meet up with friends, when I came back to my car - some jerk off key'd the infiniti logo in the trunk and along the left side of my car. Since then, I only park my car where I can see it.

F'd up, sorry this happened to you. The dipsh*t who did it will probably never know what it is like to drive a nice car.

In case you are looking for another shop. I've had my G worked on at KJ's Auto Body in Oakland. The owner Kenny is a straight shooter.

Good stuff. I am sure you will not be dissapointed. I commute from SJ to sac quite often since I have a home there. If you need a ride there or back let me know.

I already setup a date for the claims person to head out to TNT, otherwise I would definitely take you up on that offer!

Can't take you back to the bay haha, but it's possible I could get you to the train station in sac. depends on the time and my school schedule.
