A Benefit for The Lukemia & Lymphoma Society Fighting Blood Cancers

EuroSunday is hosting and is inviting all car and motorcycle owners and clubs to participate by donating a new unwrapped toys to the Sacramento Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for local children suffering from blood cancers.

Here's summarized info:

When: Saturday, Dec 5th, 2009 (0900 - 1300/9AM to 1PM - rain or shine)

Where: The Red Lion Hotel Sacramento / 1401 Arden Way, Sacramento 95815 - Next to Arden Fair Mall at the Arden Way exit off Business 80


How:
** Club/group (car or motorcycle) caravan or drive on your own and donate a new unwarpped toy.
** Schedule a time for the club/group to arrive and be featured in the "Winners Circle".
** Open to all cool, exotic and rare and motorcycles and clubs.
** Rally style "Finish Line" and "Winners Circle" w/an anouncer and DJ, professional photographer, and children from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society accepting the toys.

I'm posting this at several forums. I'd like to set up a caravan for Z's (ZHaven, ZVille, etc ..), G's, and the cars of Team-Driven. If interested, post up your name. I'll provide updates "here" at this forum. If you'd like emails, PM me that information.

If you want to set up your own caravan, you need to contact Mike Ritenour (his contact information is in the flyer - see link above). If you do this, my feelings won't be hurt.

I"ll be at the EuroSunday event in South Sacramento (Sunday morning) and the Gears and Coffee event (Sunday afternoon), so look me up if you have any questions.

 

More information ..

For clubs/groups that decide to participate.

1) You will be given a time to report. The idea is for the club/group to assemble someplace outside of the Red Lion Inn and caravan "in" together.

2) There will be a "stage" where each member of the caravan will drive your car on to the stage, have you and your car photographed (professionally) and your "toy" will be accepted.

3) The Red Lion Inn is "signed up" for this. A separate area will be reserved for the cars, staging, etc ...


Note: If NorCAL-G35driver G's want to set up their "group/club" caravan .. go for it!

I would be really interested to go to this by unfortunately, I have to work during those times. If it was after 3PM, i'd be there. Is there any way we can still drop off a toy afterhours?

2nd .. freshnikez .. I will check on the "afterhours" situation. If that is not available, perhaps we could meet someplace/sometime prior to the event. I can take your "gift" and present it on your behalf.

3rd .. Team Driven, a small Datsun-Nissan-Infiniti club is participating and has an assigned time. If anyone at g35driver.com wants to participate, contact me via PM and I'll provide the details. If you all prefer to particpate as your own, please contact Mike. His information is in the 1st post (I updated with a flyer) in this thread.

The event is THIS Saturday, 5 December.

The EuroSunday group will be at the Red Lion from about 800AM to the end. If you want to donate (and not be part of a caravan), you're more than welcome to come on out - drop off your donation and participate in the "show-n-shine" (like traditional EuroSunday events).

And .. if you want to be part of Team Driven's caravan .. our assigned time is 12 noon, our rendevouz time is 11:15A-11:30A in the parking lot, across from SEARS.

Post up if you want to be part of the caravan.

I need this so we can make sure we assemble/organize in time .. I don't know who/when the next group is ..
