Any Santa Clara Traffic Lawyer recomendaions?

I got a speeding ticket, going allegedly 40 on a 25. I assumed it was a commercial street and that the speed limit was 35.. but conveniently the posted speed limit was right at the speed trap that caught me.

Anyways I did an arraignment and have court in 2 weeks so I need a lawyer.... any recomendations. and I know it's cutting close to the date.

you need a lawyer for traffic court? i always thought you just represent yourself? i wouldnt think a speeding ticket would be worth hiring a lawyer over... it cant be that much.

I just got a 341$ speeding ticket for 90 in 65, I was planning on going to court for it but if i need a lawyer F it

You can rep yourself. Basically you are proving why you are right and the officer is wrong. If you have sufficient evidence that would indicate that you were not in violation of said offense, then you have a good shot. Are you indicating that you were not going the speed that you were cited for?

Depends on what his basis is for why he was in the right. He cant say he did not know the posted speed limit and there were no signs present.....

+1!! I got court tomarrow at 6pm!!!. for going 62 in the 40. I waaas gonna fight it but I thought I have no chance and can't afford a point on my record. so ehh fk it. But the reason why I was gonna fight it is because the cop was hiding in his lil trap with all his lights off (not even parking lights on) in a bmx track entrance. Not a public road. Also it was 11pm hella dark the speed sighns are hardly visable. Also whe he pulled me over I asked why I got pulled over and he said nothing 20min later he comes with a speeding ticket for me to sighn BS! ****in bs rookie ticket he had what looked like a older officer in the pasanger seat.
