Yeah I guess the pix aren't bad for a cam

We need to setup a camera rig on someones car with a good DSLR for remote shooting. Mmmm... Maybe setup some servos for rotation too! And remote preview! YEAH?

I'll be the camera car since I'm a 4x4 and can get into rough terrain!

Alright, still didn't post up pics. I went to sleep at 11PM last night super early for me. I will do it tonight for SURE LOL... and on the blog as well since Rusty was being homo about it.

An auto rig would be dope!

Haha, hurry up foo! We'll have another meet by the time you put up your pix

Pat,

I was half-kidding at first but now I'm intrigued. I think it would be fun to build a small rig to maybe fit into a sunroof? Kind of like reverse spider legs. That way it can be switched between cars and can be very stable. I'm thinking of hooking up one of those small cheap 720p video cameras (~$150) to it for videos. They're lightweight and we wont have to worry about damaging/losing your primo camera gear. Then we setup a gear to turn it by hand from inside the car for manual 360 coverage. Oooh! Sounds fun! We gotta plan it out more next time we meet!

Hmm, only a few pix are loading on the main thread there. But I think I get the idea. Yeah we can do that. I was always worried about suction cups and such because of fear of scratching the paint. Thus my "sunroof" idea. But hey I'm willing to try anything! I hate waiting for parts to arrive though, but it sounds like fun.
