Place around here that does full vinyl wraps?

Hey Guys,
Im looking to do a matte black vinyl wrap. Anyone know of a place around here that can do a decent job?

bmpnride Dec 31, 2009 01:39 PM

VinylStyles can do it. I have a bunch of stuff there now. You might also want to talk to Kris about this.

Thanks Troy, I will give them a call. I have spoken with Kris about it, just want to explore my options.

hey steve try doing it yourself :) http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...643&highlight= I'm thinking a regualar DIY'er like us can do it like the guy in the link. the vinyl is about 400 bucks for the whole car.

yeah, Steve i think Lyle is the best option to go with since his work is on point...it does cost but would cheaper than going to Paul(igt)...but if i remember correctly...Joe, Kris friend said there is a place in Santa Clara that does wrapping as well...again, he would know more about that

David, thanks for the reply. I really want to do it myself but I dont think I will pull it off without any help. Trying to stretch that vinyl without any help over the large panels im afraid will leave me with a wrinkled mess. It seems like the rolls can vary from $400-1200 depending on the quality so instead of dropping for a roll and failing, might just have someone do it and avoid the possible waste.

Ernie, does Lyle work for a shop or independent? Can you give me his info? Thanks for the help!

well he use to do it out of his garage but gathered enough to open up shop...the only thing where the location of the shop is...that it dips...so it is extremely difficult well at least for Laly and I to even go in there without scraping...

We can raise the car up to clear the driveway Steve then get you back down (even lower :D ) afterwards.

You considering a full wrap?

I remember you having problems getting in there the day of the grand opening. I had no issues on the side driveway but the one on Old County made me grind some metal.

Considering the front end of my sideskirts are 2" off the ground. Im guessing I will have issues. However, thanks for the recommendations. I will be looking into buying a roll and giving it a shot.

Thats about the height of mine.. Good luck with the wrap. Black is alot more forgiving than carbon fiber weave vinyl. A heat gun and a buddy and you should do fine. Its alot cheaper than the $1500-2000 to have someone wrap it.

If you have extra, Im sure you will have some interested people that would like parts of their cars wrapped, like rear diffusers or chrome pieces. The pieces that can come off will be easier.
