Thanks. I read Wrathernaut's sticky thread. It is lots of info and i am not very technically inclined to do the install myself. so while i can source the components required, i will still need somebody to do the install and i don't mind paying.

I signed up for Driver just to contact Eugene (bythabay) and I am glad I did. I went to him for a 90K service which was sorely overdue. He drained my fluids and then did a wonderful job on my car. He pointed out things for which I would need to keep an eye on. When he spotted things that were not quite right and if they were easily fixable, he fixed them right away and didn't even charge me.

For my second visit, he replaced my shock absorbers. After he was done, he encouraged me to call around to get a quote on what the job would've cost me anywhere else (5-star Yelp rated shops) and said that he'd beat the lowest quote. We're secret best friends now.

Ya give ^ProTech Auto a call, its in the Sacramento area. Oleg is genuinely the most honest and hardworking mechanic I know. He is the best when it comes to that kind of work. He's worked on my 07 g35 coupe and 05 s2k. I definitely recommend him!

Hey guys! I just recently moved into San Jose state from Los Angeles. I want to find a mechanic that is trustworthy and will take care of my g35 overall. I read that Eugene (bathe any) is good.

Would he be someone that will read code and take care of the car without the bs?

Anyone in sacramento can help me perform an idle reset? My coupe has a low idle and it dies on start-ups if I don't give it gas. I already cleaned the throttle body, checked for holes in the air intake, and checked the coolant levels. I'm now trying to perform the idle reset to see if that does anything, but the part where the cel is supposed to come on never does for me.. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
