I just moved to the bay area last year. I'm wondering if you could suggest a good mechanic, ideally in Redwood City or San Carlos. I searched a bit but it looked like most people focus on Beshoff in SJ. Anything closer to Redwood City? I'm open to a dealer but am interested in non-dealer as well.

What do you need done? Just general maintenance stuff?

 

I use Tim at ET Auto, 650-367-8566. He's a one man shop and does great work at reasonable prices located in RWC, behind the local Toyota dealer area. The place is hard to find so you can call him for the address which I don't even know. I've been going to him about 20 years.

He does great maintenance work on the G's and takes pride in his work. I believe he may still be doing mobile service now. He is located in SF.
