thanks for the kind words....

when the light turned green, I proceeded to make a left turn, shifted gears and stepped on the gas...

it happened so quickly, 5 seconds at most...but this is what I think happened...

rear end swung out to the right, I over corrected and it swung back to the left and the car went over the curb, hit the fence, swung back around to the right (marks on rear qtr panel, rear bumper, trunk) and stopped on the street.

i hope to have the car back better than ever...

if anyone ends up going to the 350Z meet in San Mateo on the 17th and/or the Peninsula meet on the 24th, PM me. I'm in Daly City and could use a ride. I could take my daily driver, but what fun would that be

funny...just read a post over on My350Z and some guy in SoCal also lost control of the rear end of a Z and banged it up pretty bad. His rear wheel looks like shat along with his rear qtr panel and passenger door

i think i am being a noob here...but why would the rear end get loose?...i just wanna know so that i can make sure it won't happen to me....

Whoa.....so sorry for your misfortune.......Your car really rode that fence hard.....

I will admit it, your a much better man than me.....I get pissed for a week when I find a little chip, I could not imagine what I would do if I managed to damage my car that much.......

I'm sure with a little time and effort it will look brand new....most if not all of the damage is cosmetic, so it shouldn't be that hard to repair.

OMFG Vinh, that sucks *****! And I thought my damage was bad. (Garage door in my complex came down and scraped my entire roof) Glad that your okay but it sure hurts seeing the car like that.
