Extended warranties ...

OK .. I know most of you do your own work, some may not go to the dealership at all .. unless it's warranty work. What about after the OEM warranty runs out?

What's your opinion regarding extended warranties?

Not worth it .. because cost vs benefit?

Infiniti workmanship .. means less likely to need the extended warranty?

I'm an old fart, and my old school thinking was that extended warranties were too costly .. but I'm wondering with the newere cars 2005 and newer?

I think is worth it, I am thinking of buying extended warranty before it expires. I think it pays for itself after a couple of visits. I guess it depends how much is the extended warranty

It's worth it. Glad I have mine due to the POS revup VQ Nissan/Infiniti gave me day one new and POS warranty replacement ~2yrs later. Infiniti won't be throwing me under the bus until after 7yr/100Kmi. I'll most likely be due another VQ replacement before 100K. My oil analysis proves it's not going to last long....
