Clutch\Flywheel Installation
Clutch\Flywheel Installation
I live in SF and I'm looking to replace the OEM clutch on my '05 G35. I've been checking the forums here but there's nothing current about a good replacement.
I only have 51k and the OEM pedal sticks form time to time and makes this clicking noise when engaging and disengaging.
I'm looking for a a good Stage II performance clutch and a flywheel with little to no chatter that is good for the aggressive street driver. Does anybody know any local shops that do quality work are also reasonable on prices? I will go as far as north as Sac and south to San Jose but the closer the better

our g's tend to have that sticky clutch pedal phenomena... depending on how you drive (how much clutch riding you do), you should still be good for a lot more, unless it's those sf hills that are eating through your clutch. I'm hitting 105K miles on original OEM clutch, and i'm lead footed, but i do most of my driving through the san joaquin valley (sacto to fresno). I know it doesn't answer your question but I'd thought it give you something to think about.

The Shop San Bruno will do clutch work.
Limitless Motorsports will also do clutches.
Both located on the same street. San Mateo Avenue in San Bruno. Right behind Tanforan Shopping Center across some train tracks.
I trusted my built Evo with these guys and they did not disappoint.
The Shop also fits HellaFlush wheels if you're into that crap.
