Powdercoating brakes

Hey guys, looking to get my stoptechs powdercoated. Can anyone recommend a place for me to get it done? Ideally I would drop the car off, get the work done and pick it back up. If any of you had a good experience let me know. Any help would be great, thanks!

I was going to create the same post today but I got busy. What a coincidence. I know of one powdercoater that does great work and has done many calipers. I'm searching for a local place where I can just drop off the rotors and calipers. I was quoted $350 for the calipers and rotor hats. I will be getting mine powdercoated in a candy blue with as much Pearl as I can get. Shipping will cost $$ to shi. Anyone local would need to have experience tearing down the brakes and rebuilding them.

Nice, where is your powdercoater located? Only thing for me is that I don't exactly have a place where I can store the car during the down time. Is that 350 for all 4 calipers and rotor hats? If so that sounds like a pretty good deal. What brakes do you have?

He is located in Georgia. The price I was quoted was for all 4 calipers and hats for Akebono. Not sure of the price for Stoptech.

He told me $30 for shipping. I get business rates for FedEx so getting them there will not be that much.

Getting purple on brakes is a pretty bold statement. Maybe look at the website at the burple he has done.

Hmm I only see one pic of a candy purple he did but he said the color is not accurate cuz of the flash. Think I can pull off the purple or stick with yellow?

there is no local shop? I am assuming you have to send your rotors and calipers?

^ Yeah for the one they recommended we gotta ship them out. I'm still trying to find a local shop to minimize the hassle.
