Ok I hope I dont ramble on too much but I'll give a few details and can answer more questions if needed.
1st: Here's a few pictures from the last show I was involved in. because its the end of 2004 most reviews are coming down. So pictures are harder to find on the internet.
http://www.urbanlifeproductions.com/Seattle529/
2nd: The company has done shows in other parts of the country in the past I believe mid west and south east. I was not a part of the company at that time. They also do alot of club promotions, around the country and in Canada.
3rd: Me: I am from the NW I do promotions and other things for multiple shows, as well as organize alot of local community things like Dyno Days, Drives, BBQ's, Charities, Car Washes, things of that nature. I was recently hired by a company in the NW to help with a show they were doing. The show went alright a few problems but the owner went way over board and mis managed his money. A new company that did shows else were took over all the show thinking they could take the show farther by managing things better. I was asked to stay on board and do alot more. (Basically everything except money) Anywayz I had two request I wanted to put on a NW Drift event. With there help I now have a venue for "Driftfest". My other request was to put on a show that was inexpensive for the people to attend and for people to show there car. A show that wasnt all the extra frills like paintball, RC cars, Stunt teams, MC Battles, Rappers, Bands, B-Boy Battles, and things of that nature. Not that I dont like them but a few things I have found out is if you look at people picture from the show you see very few pics of cars unless theres a girl in front of it, and I have seen some shows that half the people that come in just go straight to the stage to see DJ, B boy battle, girls, get free stuff, and other entertainment. Ya from the company stand point who cares what they come in for as long as they buy a ticket. But its not fair to the people/companies that spend good money to advertise and its not fair to the people who spend money, sweat, and time to get there car to the point its at plus all the money, sweat and time it takes to prep for a show. This show will be basic Cars, Women, and a DJ. There will be other like GO GO girls, Bikkini contest, and stuff but the focus will be on the CARS. No big sponsors that un fairly take all the trophies or anything like that.
4th: I am a not an office person or things like that I love cars and people. If you attend the show I am sure you will see me wondering around. I shake hands and talk with people so please say "HI" You can ask any of the staff at the show to get a hold of "ZANE" and I will be happy to come over say "HI" answer any questions or solve any problems. I try to make everyone happy. Also my father told me when I was young 'Always ask the worse they can say is "NO". So I try to tell everyone else the same. "just ASK" if there is something I can to to make your experiance better I will.
Ohh ya I am a Leo and enjoy long walks through SEMA.
