Hello everybody

I have a 2004 G Coupe and I shipped it here from Chicago a couple months ago. My plates expired so now I have to get a smog test and register in California. My car has had some issues starting. It revs up and then just dies unless I push the gas just a bit before it bottoms out. Is this going to give me problems? And also if anyone in the area can take a look I can bring beer Any help would be appreciated

Might be the MAF sensor. Is your check engine light on?

 

oh you got it fixed.. good news!

 

Yeah! Eugene (bythabay) cleaned the throttle body and tightened some clamps that might be causing it. Drove out of there and my car felt solid. Gonna go get smog test and California plates! Wanted those since Cruisin' USA waaaaay back haha

 

Passed Smog test today Cali plates here I come!
