Help a SOCALer out!

Hey guys, driving up the PCH tomorrow with the wife to visit good ol' NORCAL,

I have 3 questions

1) what is the best steak house in town that is around $50 per person (we sometimes share a larger cut and order appetizers to keep the check around $100) And if you have any other food recommendations please chime in too

2) besides the usual fisherman's wharf, golden gate bridge, visiting silicon valley (gonna visit apple, friend works there), where are the best spots to go for a newlywed couple? Night life? Not clubs, but classy lounges or just beautiful streets.

Thanks!!

appreciate your time

God bless

Kevin

If you're looking for some kind of interesting/hip spots, I'd check out Rosamunde Sausage Grill in The Mission. Pretty inexpensive, lots of cool sausages to try as well as beers. My mom also went to The Fifth Floor and said it was pretty neat. Can't comment on the steakhouses though!

I'm partial to Harris on Van ness. Ruth Chris is near by but there's one in Irvine (Socal) so Harris is a newer experience.

One of my favorite french restaurants/bistros in the city. Did they open a new location at/near Fishermans Wharf or are you going to the one on Clement street?
