Tire shop in South Bay.

Where do you guys take your Gs for tire replacement/repairs ?

I just got a nail in one of my rear tire, and went to America's Tire (on Hamilton Ave in Campbell).
Even though they did a quick job to find the nail and repair ... I am PISSED at them ! They scratched my rim all around, I guess when they took the tire off the rim !
I am going to complain on Monday, but I don't have much hope to get anything out of them, and my rim is ruined anyways !!! rhaaa ... I hate them !

Any other better place to recommend ?

Sedan
I had my wheels/tires installed at Firestone in San Mateo on El Camino Real. No scratches at all. Ask for Moo.

Make sure BEFORE you bring your car anywhere to have tires installed or removed that they GUARANTEE their work. Meaning, that if they scratch the wheels they replace them.

My wheels come in this week, and I have been trying to find a competent tire shop. 1 in 7 that I have called said they guarantee their work.

Okay. So I went to talk to them today. I talked to the manager.

He apologized .. blah blah blah, and offered to send my wheel to some shop they work with to "buff it up" and repolish the finish. "I will look brand new".
I guess I'll give that a try, hopefully they won't mess it up even more :-/

Have you guys heard of a place like that before, can they do a good job on the iForged 19" ?

He also offered a free tire next time I want to buy new shoes for my G, but ... it's few month away.

Also before you bring your rims into any tire shop........clean your rims in advance. You may also want to take a picture of each rim also, it is easy for any shop to say "there was a scratch there already". The machines they use to put the tires on have a rubber pad that prevents the rim from contacting the machine but it spins with the outside lip area of the rim. If there is any brake dust, you will get a swirl! It happened to me, luckily I was able to polish it out but barely.
