Nice zaino detailer

I just got my car detailed with Zaino from a guy from my350z, he spent 6 hours on a 2 mo old car, and did 3 coats of z5/z2 for $120. He's in fremont.

Cheaper than most detailers and he uses more expensive products.

Here's his ad from craigslist

It's a little dark now for pics, but you guys all know what a detailed G looks like.

Why didn't you just do it yourself??? IMO, I just don't think paying other people for that amount of money, just isn't worth it. Besides, I don't like other people touching my G and you can order the total detail kit from zainobros.com for $85. That's way you've gain more experience and got yourself a zaino kit. I am assuming you don't have time to take care of your G??? anyway I like to see pics!!!

i'm definitely gonna hit this guy up, thanks for the info

badlittleboy007 - i know what you're saying about doing the job yourself, but with a wife and 3 year old son, some of us really don't have 6+ hours to wax the car

time is a big factor, and if you don't do it often enough, your zfx will be past its shelf life.
you don't go to a detailer ever few weeks, you do it every once in a while to get a couple layers of sealant on and just maintain it yourself

once you figure in the time it would take you to complete the task and multiply that by what you are getting paid hourly from your daily job, then in a sense, it is better to have someone do it and just pay them....

I think the price of $120 paid would be fair for the protection provided. i would do it if i lived closer to freemont. Maintaining the wax job is far easier for me since my g is usually garaged... my 2k2 6spd max still looks brand new if i just wash it (just haven't bothered much due to the recent rainy weather)...

zaino'd my g35's trunk this past weekend just to try out the system and to see how much work and time it would take....

results after 3 hours is a smooth as heck trunk that looks wet as a freshly painted panel.... i think the clay bar made the biggest difference.... even without the zaino wax, the trunk felt smooth as heck after claybar treatment...i had washed the car at a touchless drive thru earlier in the day and when i went to use the wax-as-u-dry from eagleone, i could feel particulate junk on the panels still...

now i gotta find a day where i can spend the whole day on the rest of the car....it is a lot of work and i think it would be well worth it...

Does pretty good work. zaino'd my g came out pretty nice and smooth. like looking into a mirror. but yea i know what you mean, why pay for something you can do yourself? but hey not everyone has all the time in the world. Wish i had time. plus i get lazy alot =)

dang it, i'd rather pay for the basic, but i would i have to drive out too far just to get it done, then get it all dirty just getting back home...

i guess i'll have to wait for a very calm day to do any car washing and detailing, cause out where i live, 5 minutes after i wash a car, dust and junk just rolls in to lightly blanket the car again... i live in the countryside...

actually the creek is far far away but there is a duck pond on the ranch and some trees that shed dust like crazy.... just having the garage window cracked open a little gets the g all dusty after a day or two... i definitely need to get that new maxima car cover (for a 2k2 max...it fits quite well...)
