Don't confuse kelvin with lumens. The higher the kelvin rating the lower the light output or lumens. A 6000k swap will not make your headlights brighter, just bluer. Stick with the stock HID's and change out your fog/high beam bulbs. I have PIAA Xtreme Force H4 bulbs and they match the HID's quite nicely. While they are not brighter than the stock bulbs they are whiter and give the illusion of being brighter.

I've been buying my bulbs from Options Auto Salon for years.
