It DOES look stretched. It really took some getting used to. The main thing that concerns me is the NON-existent lip protection... My lips actually look like they will scrape the ground. Looks cool but not very practical for a daily driver. Makes my butt clench everytime I see potholes or rough roads. LOL.
Chris,

Hey, thanks for the info. Yeah, I was told the very same thing. The 255's are not a problem. However, the 285's in the back may create some issues.

Did you have Chris mount your TPS's in your new wheels?

Sooo, with all of that . . . I will go with the SF Winnings (Mercury Siver) @ 19x9.5 +19 w/245/35/19 front and 19x10.5 +29 w/275/35/19. Now, for another long wait.

Nice pic's everyone and a fun meet and cruz. We may have to take some time and eat at Alice's resturant next time. We overwelmed them and thier parking lots. Had so much fun driving, I took off for Arizona the next day. The G did great on the drive. I had heard that Bigfoot was spotted near Ben Lomond last Saturday. Thanks for lunch Shane. Looking forward to your new tires and rims Andy. Its hot and dry here, thinking of all of you in the soggy bay area.

Andy and anyone else, if you go to wider tires in the back don't you have camber issues? I went to 265 in the rear first time around and without a camber kit I had uneven wear on the inside of the tires. I had to swap them out after only 15,000 miles. I went smaller to 255 just so I could drive to work without worry, so far 25,000 and the tires look as good as new.
I do want to go bigger but does anyone know what is required so that we can get them back in spec. Eloy I know you must have some info on this.

There is quite a bit of adjustment in the camber settings stock, especially with the rears. Your drop is not that much, and should be easy to get back into spec.

I think your problem is partially due to the specs of your wheels- I'm guessing that your offsets are in the high 30's, whereas a typical staggered coupe setup has an offset 10mm lower. Maybe the first time around you had a bad alignment?

I was running 275's on my 19's and had absolutely no uneven tire wear on the inner or outer edges.

I don't plan on dropping my car, so I should not have many issues, if any . . . . I hope.

Paul, was your car lowered when you slapped on the 265's?

What tires lasted you 25,000? I have 255 and I am lucky to get 15,000.

Hehehe, Linda . . . On my last bimmer I was changing tires every 8 to 10k. I have adjusted my driving habits, since getting the G and the tires look great at 14.7k.

Oh, someone handed me a pair of sunglasses, last Saturday. I think it may have been Mike. Anyways, they said that the sunglasses belonged to you, but you had already left the restaurant.
