My car was keyed last night!
I woke up to the most horrible sight this morning. After leaving the Sanra Cruz II run I decided it was time to have some more fun in SF so I hit up the Marina and chilled over night at my friends place. Well I wake up to see my entire car keyed. There was a key line on every panel of the car. They keyed part of the driver and passenger side door, the hood, the driver and passenger front and rear fenders, and the trunk. I just wanted to cry. My car is less than 5 days old.
Can any one recommend a good paint shop. And how much do you guys estimate the cost of the repair to be? Will I have to basically get the whole car painted over???
OMG that is going to cost soooo much. I am so sad.
Also for the meantime, is there some type of touch up paint I can use to mask the scratched for now? I drive a black 06 Coupe.
Please any help would be appreciated.

Also is it worth telling my insurance ?? I am not sure if i should tell them, because my current car is a replacement for my 05 G that was totalled about 4 weeks ago. So back to back incidents might not be to good for my insurance cost.
You mentioned that the car is only 5 days old. A new car comes with a 30-day insurance policy from the manufacturer. You should be able to avoid getting your own insurance company involved and file a claim through this one...
Damn man, you are just having bad luck with these G's.....I am sorry to hear it. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I woke up to that. I would definitely check out that 30 day warranty with the dealer if I were you, its always worth a try.

Jeesh... That is just horrible luck!
Some moron did the same to my pickup (new at that time) in 94, and I spent two months dealing with insurance and repair shop headaches. I feel for ya...
At least we had a chance to see it before the damage was done. I hope things can be settled with the repairs w/o any further hassles...

No insurance company will drop you because of that, simply a lawsuit in the making if they did. Of course you have to pay your deductible, but it's worth it! If you need help, we repaint cars here in the East Bay and can even help you do other work at the same time, ie. body kit replacement, custom paint jobs, etc. It is a bit of drive for you, but quick turnaround as well. You sound like my kind of insurance fraud shop.. wish you were here in the South East!
