Gauging interest of DYNO Day.

Are you up for a DYNO Day? It has been more than a year since we did this, since we have so much more members at last meet, I figure its time for other dyno day.

For ppl who have just purchased or planning on Mod? its great way to get a base line number before doing any Mods, and for some of you already Moded quite extensively(Andy ) this is time for you to see the hard numbers of your Mods...

I was going to ask the same thing. I'd be glad to help coordinate things with Modacar if people are thinking of going there again. I'll be going there anyway to have my car dyno'd in the coming month or so (adding headers, intake and ecu).

On a side note: Modacar currently have a customer's Noble M12 in their shop. Supposedly it's in their for some engine problems as well as upgrading the turbos. It's a cool looking car, but that sucks that it's already having to be fixed.

Yes, the Modacar would be on top of the list, since we did dyno their twice before, I will stop by either today or tomorrow and have a chat with them about it, the time frame I thinking was sometime in May 6~7, 13~14(which is BBQ for frekmontVII) or 20~21, we need to do this before the weather gets too warm which will rob some HP/TQ

I went by Modacar this morning (they're located in Livermore) and they said they can fit us in most weekends in May. They were a little vague on whether any we not available at this point. We'd just need to give them at least 2 weeks lead time to secure our spot. 5 cars minimum is the minimum. With 10 cars or more, the pricing is $40 per car for three back-to-back dyno runs. They didn't give me the pricing for 5-9 cars, but based off of previous dyno days, we won't need to worry about it. I think the maximum they can fit in a day is around 18-20 cars. I also think they only do dyno days on Saturdays.

So now that you know that, what do you guys think?

It's an in-ground DynoJet (224 model, I believe).
