Poll: Monterey Run
Well, based on the interest of a Monterey Run, I have decide to set-up a Poll.
The Monterey Run will take place on a Saturday. The pre-run meeting place will be at the Serramonte Shopping Center parking lot, located in Daly City. This time we will meet closer to the entrance of the parking lot. We will start gathering together at 10am and leave at 11am. After this poll closes, I will post some more definitive details in another post in conjunction with a sign up list. Also, at some point, after getting a better idea of the number of people attending, I will be better able to reserve a place for lunch at the Monterey Fisherman's Wharf.
If the number of people attending is anywhere close to the number of people whom attended the Santa Cruz II Run, this will promise to be another wonderful drive/meet. The weather should be perfect for such an event.

Lunch in Monterey
After reviewing the menus and recalling the discussions, which Carol and I had with the managers of the different restaurants on the Wharf . . . Our group will be enjoying lunch at Gilbert's Seafood Grill, which is located on the pier. One of the managers, Dave, offered us the rear dining room, which has excellent waterfront views. Here's the link for Gilbert's Seafood Grill:

More info to follow, as this event moves along.

).Yes, I think that you and I will be putting out a feeler for a DRY RUN, at some point. Hehehe . . . You were there helping out with our first Santa Cruz Run. Perhaps, in a few weeks, you and I along with a few others can do a practice "dry run." Thanks, Shane.
Sounds good, July 1st may be bad because of the July 4th weekend, traffic....
On July 8th there is a formula "D" event at Infineon. I'm good for the other days. Let me know about the "scout" run. How about 17 mile drive and lunch at Pebble Beach-just kidding.

We'll get to a definitive date soon. I hope you can work something out with one of your co-workers.

Poll closes next week, the 19th of April (Wednesday)
Hmmm . . . I thought that I had selected an auto closing date for this poll. I guess I must have missed something. In any event, the poll will close next Wednesday, as noted above.
I was planning on a quick run down to Monterey this coming weekend, but I need to be in L.A.
For those of you, whom would like to go on a scout/dry run (Shane and Wes), I'll keep you posted. It will probably take place on either of the first 2 weekends of May.
There are a few route details that I want to look at per last weekends drive, which Carol and I took.

Donnie,
It would be great, if you were able to join us. It's folks like you, Eloy and Shane, whom have kept these boards going . . . And in doing so, making the said available to folks such as myself.
We will all know by this coming Wednesday evening which date the Monterey Run will be.
