I test drove a G35x and a G35 Sport 6MT. I think I saw about seven or eight of them there.

Hey vstrizheus. I noticed you'll be getting your new G a few days from now. I'm sure you're really excited and can't wait anymore. The shorter the days until ETA the longer the waiting time seems to get.

First car I ever bought new was a '92 Talon TSi AWD, and it was nice to have all four wheels laying it down when the roads were slick.
But on the other hand, unless you're going into the mountains with it, you're only going to have a bad time maybe a few days every Winter w/ RWD. ...and my first three cars were all RWD... and I'd survived Winters around here in those just fine.
I rarely drive into the snow and really wanted all the performance I could get, so went for the Sport.
Bought my 07 Journey with Tech/Nav at MSRP from Infiniti Kirkland. Traded in my 05 Prius with them. The first price they gave me for the trade-in was the price I was expecting and with the tax on top it was more than I could get selling it privately. Since it was clear that buying this car in the second week it came out was going to result in MSRP - I went for the deal. I have to report it was a painless process. I had none of the nonsense of Magic Toyota in April offering me $15,000 for the Prius where when I said "I'll hold onto it for a little while longer", they went to $20,000 in under 60 seconds. "Scum bags" is the only fitting description for this behavior.
If Infiniti had done the same thing, I would have also walked but they did not. Did I get a good deal? I got the deal I was expecting.
Popular car? When I was getting the overview of the car after I bought it, three salesman came out with customers to show them the car.
Once they get stock, I am sure you can haggle. I suspect it will be a few months though.

Give this guys a try. http://www.nwfl.com/index.asp
I have not bought anything from them but my brother did.
He got a Lexus LX. And as I understand what they do is they purchase a whole fleet of cars and are able to get them for low price from the factory and pass it on to you

Thanks!
Never been there before, but I saw them referred in another thread, and they are licensed install for both 3M and VentureShield.
The finance guy at the dealer initially quoted me somewhere around $2k for dealer installed, I told him I was going down the street, and was quoted $300-$500, depending on the product and amount of covering.
He rattled on with some gibberish about "lifetime warranty" and "we'll fix chips and breaks in your headlights for free".. and then came down to around $1K. I let him go on for a minute or so until he was talked out about it, and told him "no".
