Re: Washington G's

Hye Cersoft, How much did you pay for your stillen front lip? and where did you color it( if you did it around Seattle)? Does it exactly match your bump? how much for install? Can you anwer them for me? because I am very interesting in that front lip(I scratched alot under the bumper, so I though front lip will all cover it). I have same car as you except mine is 5AT.
So , help me out on it.
You got a nice looking car by the way. I like your front lip, and the 35%tint. did you tint on the front(don't looks like it), what about back?

Re: Washington G's

does anybody in this NW forum work in Wells Fargo in 45th street near UW? Because I saw one asian looking guy(I think he is Korea) drove white 6MT same color as mine(Ivory Pearl) and I was wondering if he knows about this forum.. if not I should go tell him, after all he works in bank which I go to, hehe.. There are just too many Gs in UW now days. I see least 3of them everyday(usually, it's DG, and black, and IP) Well, now my car is not unique -.-; sad... but it's all good our car is getting popular and everyone know that people have to wait for while to get our car. One more great thing about G(limited)

Re: Washington G's

So far I've:

got ClearBra from Rockblocker
got 40% Huper Optik tint from Accutint (do not recommend)

self installed:
Double din with AVIC-N1 and DEH9600MP
Hardwired Passport 8500
Nismo titanium shift ****
Nismo sway bars
Grounding Gear 7-wire
Z-Tube

Soon:
4080 subwoofer box with Solobaric S10c (just got the box today, so installing it tonight)
Reverse Camera for AVIC-N1 (should be arriving tomorrow)
Black Chrome emblems (arriving later this week)

I've got a Popcharger that I'm not sure if I want to install or not, if anyone wants it, I'll sell for $100 and include the oil refill. I'm eventually going to get a twin turbo so there isn't any need to install this (or the z-tube for that matter, but it was an easy install).

Re: Washington G's

Yep - That was me . My girlfried was giving me a hard time for waiving at another G35 owner. I just laughed and told her "Its a G thang - you wouldn't understand"

A few days ago at the gas station, I saw a silver G35 pull into the Burgerville (shared parking lot). They started flashing their brights at me. My wife was like, "What's that guy's problem?" I told her the same thing... It's a G thing.... I tried flashing back, but by the time I realized it was another G, they turned behind some bushes...

I was at a concert with my wife a little while ago as well. While I was in the car putting my sunshade up, a guy came by, and knocked on my window to ask if I ever visited the online message boards. (scared the crap out of me though, thought I was about to get car jacked or something...)

While walking to the ampitheatre, the wife was saying how she never gets as much attention in her TL.

As for being the only G in redmond... There are tons there... I was at the Microsoft campus a few weeks ago... When I pulled into the parking structure, I counted multiple G coupes on each floor . At least none of them were Twilight Blue like mine... Down here in Portland, 3 people at my work have gotten G coupes since I got mine... I make myself feel better by telling myself that I'm the only one with the full aero kit/front lip/etc . Now if al503 pulls up in his modded coupe, I'll just have to put my tail between my legs, at least until I convince the wife, that I need a body kit . Shouldn't be too hard, I already got her to go along with slotted/drilled rotors/etc on my other car, because they are "better".

Re: Washington G's

My wife gave me a hard enough time, when she asked why I didn't have the "cool gold colored brakes" . I don't need to hear it from my co-workers too . Especially since my boss keeps asking to race. Though he has a heavily modded (and tricked out) Supra Turbo. He just won the last import show too. I told him I'd think about it after I get me some twin turbos . I even jokingly asked if I could have his old twin turbos, since he upgraded his, and no longer needs his factory ones....

Re: Washington G's

I'm moving to Olympia this Jan. 2005, and want to buy 2 matching cars for my fiance( wifeby then) and myself. She wants the G35 sports coupe and so do I. I'd like to buy 2,but I concerned about handling on snow and ice. I might consider a G35 AWD 2005 sedan vs. FX35 AWD for myself, but I can't get her to look at those for herself. She wants the coupe. Anyone out there please let me know if the coupe is gonna be ok driving in Washington winters in the Seattle-Tacoma-Olympia area?

Re: Washington G's

Seattle gets a little more snow than Portland in general. We've had snow once in the past 5 years and it only lasted for a few days. I've thought about putting snow tires on my stock rims but I figure that it might snow once more before I sell the G and it won't last longer than a day or two to a week. If it's bad and I have to get somewhere, I'm just planning on renting an explorer from enterprise.

In short, I wouldn't worry about it that much. To be safe, a good set of snows will get you through it.

Re: Washington G's

I live in Olympia and own a 2004 AWD sedan. We dont get a lot of snow here in Olympia. A few bad night a year, But nothing to write about. We bought ours on Dec. 31 and I thought I was going to loose it that night on the way home.(one of those bad nights) But the snow mode took over and I couldnt of been more grateful to my husband for buy it for me.
