Seeing that I live in Auburn, this sounds great... Does he have a selection of materials to use? I'd want to find a tint that looks good on my car rather than just having someone slop something from off the shelf (no matter how well it may be done).
I'd also like do know how he deals with the ceramic dots in the back window of an f-body... I might have two cars for him to do

He has different color combos, and what ever he does not have he can order, he has internet in his shop so you can ask him to show you a few pics that he finds online and see what you like. I could not tell you how he deals with the ceramic dots but trust me him and his people are PROS so they do good tinting, just call him up and tell him that Sam with the G35 sent you and he'll hook you up!

Call him and ask him. When you say rear you mean the BIG rear window right?I don't want to give you a price and it be way off the actual price he tells you, but my guess it's gonna be like $70, don't quote me on that though, just call him and tell him Sam with the G35 sent you and he'll give you better deal than anyone you know.
How does he addres the window dot matrix issue? How about some closeups of your dot matrix before we decide the quality of his work

excuse me if i sound dumb when i ask this, but what the hell is a dot matrix?
If you go look at your back window near the top, you will see little black dots that kinda blend down into the glass, and it also goes around along the black edging of the back window as well. The rear 2 side windows on the coupe also have it around the back border. Most tint shops have a really hard time getting the tint to stick to the arear near the black dots, so you end up with a whitish ring around the edges of your windows where the tint didn't stick and it looks bad, very few shops can get it right all the way around. Most shop's solution for the rear window is to apply a piece of black vinyl to the outside of the glass to try and cover it up, but it looks horrible and will fade over time. So a good closeup picture of your rear glass near the top will show us how good of a tinter they are.

Let's see those pics!
Yes, those matrix dots are tough. The shop that did my tints did not produce the same quality work they did for my bro's car and it was a hassle to deal with.
Here are pics of mine currently... I want to get them fixed!

How would a tint shop fix that?...Mine is just like the one you posted, maybe they got lazy and did it like that,I'm going to talk to him to see if they can fix it or not, I mean how would they fix it, sand it down?
Here is a pic of my car, although it's not a close up of the tint, but I will get a close up soon

On this one you can see the white rim on the small window...

If they didn't get it right the first time, they aren't going to, its a lack of experience and knowledge on how to get this done right. Very few shops can actually get it to stick to the dot matrix like it is on mine, so if you find one, its well worth the extra money. So your shop may have given you a good price, but did subpar work IMO. I don't know of any shops in seattle that can do it right though, I had mine done back in Beaverton at Race Dezigns and they got it to stick to 95% of the matrix
^I called my salesman a while back and told him of my situation. He says to go to "Acutint" in Bellevue or Seattle. That is where majority of the cars from Infiniti of Kirkland go to get their tints done and said they do supreb jobs on the matrix dot areas.
