So i am thinking about doing my G-sedan 07' with 15% tint all around. Have any of yo local guys with dark tints have trouble with cops and tickets? also are they fix-it tickets?

 

With my previous cars, I used to run 22% all around without any problems for years. But I have gotten hassled by cops over my stock exhaust....

 

what part of town did you live in? and where did you mostly drive with your 22% tints?

 

Lived in Beaverton, and spent most of my time in Beaverton, Aloha, and Tigard.

I got hassled by cops for my stock exhaust in downtown portland while exiting Smart Park.

 

oh really? i have never seen or heard about cops giving tickets or hassling people about a stock exhaust. I hope i am ok with 15% win all around minus the windshield.

 

i dunno about tint, but you gotta tell me how to get cheap springs like you.

how much is install usually?

 

depends where you go. some places are based off hourly labor rate (usually damn too expensive). I woulda done it on my own, but i dont know how. Some place charge just a flat fee for install, which is best IMO.

ya I am tinting it next week 15% all around and then ima do the windshield later on about 35%

 

There was a member from Texas this AM that posted he totaled his G35C
due to his tint (15%), major rainstorm and distracted by his gf. Admitted he
couldn't see out of his car at night! Since rain is a constant in Oregon do
you consider it safe to go with 15% tint? I doesn't matter if you get a ticket
or not, it's your life and others your depordising....
