I had mine done at Acutint in Bellevue, they installed it with a hair between the tint and the glass which was very visible since the hair was not short and was on the driver side. Since it was the front windshield, they said it was technically illegal so if I wanted it fixed, I'd have to pay to have them remove the tint and pay again to have them reinstall. Although it may be true that any tint on the front windshield is technically illegal (I got 50%), it's still bad customer service since they agreed to do it in the first place.

Are you serious? That's lame. They should stand behind their work, that they willingly performed.

The only reason I even went with them in the first place was (at least at the time) that they were the only ones locally that installed HuperOptik tint (which was the best ceramic tint at the time, not sure what is in vogue these days).

Also had bad experiences with Accutint. They did my G35 coupe and I asked for 20% tint. They installed 35% on my car by mistake and would not own up to it. I knew it's not 20% because I compared it with my friend's car with 20% of the same brand of tint that I got, and he also got it done at Accutint just 2 months prior.
