Twist and Turns
If your looking for twist and turns and some good scenery hear is my suggestion.
Start in Ellensburg and take 821 south through the canyons to Yakima then take 12 west untill it turns into 410 west. follow 410 west to Mt Rainier turn south on 123 to 12 east and back to Yakima then back to Ellensburg on 821.
The whole loop is around 200 miles and has lots of turns and great scenery in the fall. There are also places to stop and rest and eat. The best day would be a week day when there is less traffic.
Watch for good weather and everybody calls in sick. I've driven this several times in my car and on a bike.

I'm crossin my fingers on the weather and trying to figure out when I can wash my car before I go. My buddy with his mini might join us, but I probably won't know until the day of. Hope it will be a good turnout.
I noticed my front tires are getting a little worn. Should be good for the trip though.

Back in the day when I had my Z, we used to go to Maryhill, WA where the Stonehenge replica is at. It's about 225 miles from Seattle. The back roads are a lot of fun with curves & corners for miles and the scenery overlooking the Columbia River is well worth it.
