Local Tag Heuer watch dealers?

I'm really interested in picking up a Tag Heuer Carrera and not looking to buy online because I don't trust any of those sites. Any good watch places around the Seattle area where I can see it in person?

Also I'm trying to decide between:

The classic white dials is always a good choice because it is less likely to go out of style, but the racing ones really make the watch stand out and I'm leaning towards the red dials.

Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

I've checked them out at Ben Bridge before.

That top pic is exactly the Tag I bought. I really love it and as a bonus I get comments/compliments on it too.

Check out the new Grand Carrera too though. It's about $5,500 ($2,000 more than the Carrera) but it's super nice.

I'm still torn between the classic dials vs. the red dials. What made you choose one over the other?

The absolute timeless elegance of it. Honestly though, that's a minor decision and completely personal taste. The red just didn't do it for me. Having said that, if the Carrera ONLY came with red dials I still would have chosen it over Rolex and Brietling which I was also considering.

Tag is legendary to me because of their racing heritage. I still remember just even a few years back when they were still the official timekeeper of Formula 1.

Oh, and BTW, to answer your original question. I bought mine at Haltom's. Not sure if they're in your area but they're a good, reputable dealer.

Yea the white is definitely a timeless design, whereas the red pops out abit more.

Just buy a rolex with that price or a BVLGARI watch which is cheaper.

Yeah, If you're spending $5,500 you can get more watch for your money. Something that will hold its value. Or get a used one.

I don't like the Tag's, personally. I'd go with a Breitling or IWC > Tag any day. Especially when in the $5k+ range.

The Tag Carrera I posted retails for $3200. The new Grand Carrera is in the $5k+ range.

I would not spend that much on a watch, not because of the price, but because i don't ever have time, so why would i want to buy something that taunts me

They sell these at Ben Bridge's go to the tacoma mall one, that's where i buy all my jewelry, they are good people

For a dressy watch like that, this is what I want:

Again, I'd say you save up some more, and buy a better brand used watch. It will retain its value better than any Tag.

I like that black IWC one. Subtle yet classy.

I'm going to stop by Ben Bridge later tonight and try some watches on and see how they feel.

I'm still a watch newbie. My first nice watch is a Movado. I'm looking to upgrade abit for my second one.

I really like the SS Daytona, but way out of my range:

^^ Yeah. Hence why I'm recommending you buy a used Tag or buy something with better resale value. Go to those places I showed you. timezone.com is a great forum and you can learn a lot there. That Rolex is definitely sexy!

I think watches nowadays are more of a collectors / fashion thing and not so much for for usefulness since everyone lives on their cell phones these days.
