Oregon Meet July 11th

Hey there guys/gals. I've been really lazy in giving you much notice to this meet but it's in the same place as last time, and hopefully more of you can show up. It's just going to be Nissans, Infiniti's, and Datsuns and members of these forums that may have other cars.

When- 12pm June 11th

Where- Old Home Base parking lot(where we've always had it. Not Home Depot!!!)
-From I 5 going south. Take I 5 to the I 84 west Beaverton exit. Then take the 217 exit towards beaverton. Then take the Canyon rd. exit. Take a left off the off ramp, and then another left at the second light(chevron on the left corner). Go up to the first driveway on the left and then you will see us on the right in the parking lot.
-From I 5 going north take the 217 Beaverton exit. Take the canyon rd exit. Go through the first light and take a right at the second light. Take a left at the next light (chevron on the left) and then take a left into the first driveway and you'll see us on your right in the parking lot.

Who- This will only be a Nissan, Infiniti, Datsun meet unless you are a member of a club invited or friend of a club member/ Nissan owner. I got enough complaints that the 240 owners didn't get enough attention last time and not enough 240's showed up and blah blah blah, so I'm not gonna be inviting other non-nissan forums (now you guys know how the non 240 owners feel like at every other meet) for this meet.

What- We will be hanging out, taking pictures, eating at Hooters( they will have a room saved for us), and some other things. You will be notified at the meet what those are.

I am planning this meet earlier because it will give us more time to hang out, and eat. I think it'll be alot more fun to have a bit of a closer knit meet. Start saving up your pennies for that 9 dollar meal at Hooters.

See you there!!!!
Laura

I think I'll be able to make it. Let's just hope that there are more than 3 G's this time.

Re: Oregon Meet July 11th

That's two for two now, that I'll be out of town during a NW G meet

3 for 3 if you count Seattle... I tried going to that, but they went on some drive through the cascades when I got to Bellevue.... (There for other reasons, figured I'd drop by to say hi)

Oh well.... Maybe I'll be able to see the convey from the plane, on my way to NY....

I may be out of town, but if I'm around I should be able to drop by for a while.

Re: Oregon Meet July 11th

Unfortunately I'll be in Japan, I hope there is another meet late July or early August, I'm dying to meet other G/Z drivers ... You know, swap notes etc ...

Re: Oregon Meet July 11th

We will be doing a meet in Salem in early August, but I don't know how far of a drive that is for all of you. We'll be doing a bbq at that one. There would be that black 350z there that was there at the last oregon meet except for the fact that we flipped it, so that'll be a -1z as well.

Re: Oregon Meet July 11th

I will definately be up for a drive down to Salem, looking at the map it is only a few hours down past Portland, I'd probably have to stay over night though .... Give me a good chance to try my new 400 horses :-)

Salem is only 35-45 minutes south of portland so it won't be that bad. Looking forward to seeing your G.

Re: Oregon Meet July 11th

Thanks, I just dropped it off at the body shop to have the hood done, the install will come after that, all while I'm away in Japan, I am soooooo stoked to come back to essentially a new car :-)

I dynoed it at 220hp (completely stock) on a mustang dyno, apparently the ECU has a factory specified install period where the timing is retarded until after a certain number of miles ... and I did some 0-60 runs the other night and got a 5.815 using my g-tech, it should be in the mid 4s after the install ....

Yes, I am very excited, who wouldn't be ;-)

I'll post a load of pics after the install ....

I've been out of town a lot lately and this weekend is no exception. Dad's 65th birthday and their anniversary too! Damn.

Al503- you can sit this one out if you'd like. I don't want you to be all lonely. and yes, depending on how you drive, Salem is only about 40 minutes from ptown.
