Speakerlabs?
Speakerlabs?
Well, I was planning on having Innovative Audio in bellevue do my install stuff, but they went out of business lol. Glad I didn't get stuff done by them before. So anyways, I've been visiting all the install places (the normal players in Seattle, Car Toys, Magnolia, etc.), and I'm thinking about having Speakerlabs on Roosevelt handly my install. I'm kinda wary of the big chains like Car Toys, and speakerlabs is small, and seems a little upscale (="pays attention to detail").
Has anyone dealt with them before. I talked quickly with the installer and he has about 25 years of experience. They quoted me $45 an hour (which doesn't seem bad). I'm probalby going to have them install a 10w7 and 500x1 JL equip. Any comments or experiences with them? Thanks in advance.

Re: Speakerlabs?
Don't have any experience with them as a car audio installer, although I know they are a JL Audio reseller. If you're looking for home theater speakers, check out the Dali brand for which they are the only reseller in Washington.
Speakerlab has been around since the 60's, used to be a place you could buy components and plans to build your own or buy already assembled. I was in there current store (used to be at 50th & Roosevelt) last year and at least one of the guys I used to deal with is still there. Seem to have a nice selection of gear, the shop was full of cars having installs done.
