had black roof overlay installed...looking sick..car needs to be washed bad..hella dirty... question for the other guys on here...have you or do you know anybody personally that has installed an underdrive pulley on a VQ engine...any problems after running the pulley for a while...Most shops i've talked with are against doing it because of the harmonic balancing with the stock pulley..Jun at Intec said they don't install the pulleys either...just trying to get some feedback before i decide whether i should do this mod or not.

Don't do the UD pulleys. Not worth it for the minimal gains you may see, and there have been a few cases of it actually damaging motors. There's like a 20 page thread discussing it over on my350z

SUUUKKKHHH!!!! HE LIVES!

Can't wait to see the new setup bro...when you gonna be in Sea-town again? jeez love for Spokane and not here now huh? haha

I also had a set of UD pullies on my H22A4 (baaaaaaack in da day) and they were garbage, actually lost power until near redline etc so bah on em...money is better spent elsewhere IMO

If you want to stay NA pretty much the only thing left is headers and HFC, then a retune.
Headers will help with gains up top, and the HFC are just awesome all around.

Unless you want to drop the motor and rip it apart to do internals... but that's really not cost effective lol

But if you DO want to do internals I can get you a killer deal on some cosworth 11:1 NA pistons!

HAHAHA, I thought the headers for our cars were pretty weak gains Pretty tho and as for HFC's...has anyone successfully installed them without introducing rasp into the equation?

Sukh, just say the word bro...when you're here I'm there...yea haha And congrats to you and the wifey! S'bout time tee hee

Yeah honestly headers aren't worth the $ for the minimal gains IMO, but HFC's are definitely a good idea. You won't have much rasp until you get into straight test pipes, and they'll make your exhaust sound a lot more throaty. I bought them before my cat-back, and then had HFC & cat-back and it sounded awesome.

Another option that would be absolutely baller is long tube headers... not sure where you can get them from tho.
