I also got my batter cover today, the modified one. I follow the instructions that it came with, but the top left portion sticks up and it bothers me, does not look flush like the OEM batter cover. Did you have this same problem? I am wondering if I received the unmodefied one. Also did you put clips on top 2 holes? One of the holes the clip would not go all the way down. Here is a pic of mine.

Mine isn't perfectly flush either but with a dremel and some time I bet you could get it flushed up also I put the pops into those slots but they don't attach to anything

Thanks, I am getting mine painted tomorrow. I will modified more to fit, I just thought that the modified one that is sold for more money, wouldn't require any modifying.

i noticed that the plastic doesnt sit flush like the factory one. I put the plastic pins in that go on the top of the panel but I had the same issue with one not going in all the way. I ordered the modified one and I feel like this one isnt modified but then again I dont know exactly what is supposed to modified. The fitment is about 70% OEM haha but I cant even tell it doesnt sit correctly unless I am looking for a difference. Once you get the weather stripping to snugly hold it in place it looks a little better. I feel like the top left portion should have had some sort of bracket to attach it to the existing bolt...sort of like what the right side had... I did some aggressive driving on some twistys and the panel still sits like it did when I installed it so apparently itll hold haha glad im not the only one with this issue
