Yeah it sucks. He bought that a few months ago for 26k, and now selling for 16!? Lol, can we say blown mottor!? And dyno runs pulled 700hp for that. The car is very nice though, but I wouldn't spend that kind of money on first gen.

 

If you know him, im sorry. But he was an IDIOT for paying that much in the first place.

 

Nag I don't know him, just been to the shop that built and sold the car. But I agree with u.

 

looking at that price sheet. the shop that charged him RAPED him good. They bought the parts for cheep. then marked it up hella, then charged hella for labor. one example, SPC front and rear... i got mine for 525 and install was cheep cuz i know a guy. but a hop charges 200 ish. so thats 725 for it. his bill, 900. THEN "custom" 9000 for a paint? looks stock to me

If he had all the work done at GTM, then thats about right. They charge about double what they should for stuff, i've been there and seen their setup, seen some invoices. They use their massive online presence to lure out of state buyers in and then charge them $35,000 for a motor build... but hey, the customer is convinced that they're getting something vastly superior to what I did for half that... more power to em? lol Somebody's gotta pay the rent on GTM's massive new warehouse. Also, a GOOD paint job, where the remove all the lights, mouldings, and make it look factory is going to run 5-10K... thats the main reason my ride isn't painted!

But seriously, IF this is legit, someone could buy that car and part it out for probably double that. He's got some baller parts in there. kinda makes me want to go check it out...
